Pastor Lesa Wyatt-Visionary-Teacher

Pastor Lesa has been leading women's ministry for over 30 years and has been a pioneer in marketplace ministry in the Newport News area of Virginia. 

Her spiritual awareness and insight into daily life and the application of God's Word transforms women's lives who are exercised by it. She works with excellence and seeks the Lord diligently. Her anointing to help women grow and develop into strong women of faith speaks for itself in the fruitfulness it produces in the lives of the women she serves.

Carol Chandler-Helps & Teacher


​Carol has helped Pastor Lesa in women's ministry for over 25 years from the inception of God's Girls Ministry. Currently, she serves Make Us Ready with administrative help in multiple areas including web site administration, secretarial support, and event service. Carol is a passionate teacher, and an award-winning artist, who loves the Lord, and expresses it in worship, & in her life with great joy and peace. She inspires hope to heal and encourages all.

Debbie Jarden-Food Services

Debbie is a gifted Daughter of the Living God, who is a talented cook, as well as an artist. She is a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother. She knows how to successfully raise a large family, making a loving home for family and friends, welcoming all with a gift of hospitality. She knows how to fight for what she believes in with persistence and grit as a faith-filled follower of Christ.  She feeds God's people with love and excellence. When Debbie coordinates the food service at Make us Ready, everyone is well-served, well-loved and well-fed.

Pastor Faith Hopey
Faith resides in Western North Carolina with her husband, Paul. They homeschool their two children, Riley and Lincoln.


She works as a family/youth pastor at her local church and especially enjoys encouraging families and parents to protect covenant relationship with God and the people they love most.

Faith has spent more than a decade learning from Danny Silk and “Loving on Purpose.” It’s the honor of her life to point people to Jesus and to great tools that will build structures of love strong enough to carry the weight of legacy. ​

Pastor Megan Redalen Riegel
Megan loves others well and lives free in Christ, inspiring others to experience God's presence and freedom for themselves. She enthusiastically partners with Christ and loves to watch Him actively answer prayers.

She is a passionate singer who loves to worship. Megan coordinates events and is a Healing Prayer Minister, and an Occupational Therapist, with 25 years of home health experience. She is also a Certified Brain Health Coach, with passions for natural health and the body/mind connection. 

Megan lives in the Georgia/Tennessee region

Chaplain Karen Ellis-Wilkins, BCC
Chaplain Karen is familiar with grief. She has been a board-certified chaplain working in the healthcare field for over six years. Her responsibilities as Chaplain bring her face to face with families facing unthinkable loss every day. Her experiences have only reinforced her belief that hope in Christ is the path to healing. She is passionate to bring healing to those suffering.

Chaplain Karen is finishing up her doctorate degree in community care and counseling with a focus in traumatology. 

Karen lives in the Atlanta, Georgia region.

Cyndi Heaton, RN.
Cyndi spent the last 5 years of her lifelong nursing career as a hospice nurse.

Her love for God, belief in the power of prayer and heart for people shines through.

Her experience with loss, both personally and professionally, have made her an expert in the process of healing. From her brother’s suicide, infertility, adopting children, and to the experiences of her dying patients, Cyndi has walked the journey through grief at many levels.

Cyndi and her husband live and travel fulltime aboard a boat along the east coast.

​Jamie Lilley
Jamie was born and raised in Hampton, Virginia and moved to Yorktown, Virginia in 2017.  She has been married 33 years to a godly man who brought her back to the Lord.  She said, "I have an amazing son and the best daughter n love in the world.  My grand babies, Ellis and Parker, are my everything. Family is very important to me!"

Jamie is a retired Master Police Officer with 24 years of service, and currently works as a Receptionist in a busy contractor's office.

"I have come along way with JESUS; we have our good and bad days. I still have a long way to go, but no one is perfect, right! I love people, serving and making them happy.  When you meet me, with a hug, you will know that I love JESUS. Remember, happiness is not by chance, it’s a choice. "

Debbie Schmuger
Debbie has a heart for serving the Lord wherever He leads. She has been involved in a variety of ministries since high school. After teaching music education in both public and private schools for 20 years, she became a stay-at-home mom and homeschooled both her girls. Debbie recently became an empty nester, which has opened the door for new ministry opportunities and spending more time with her husband in a rural area of Tennessee.
